I just read a kind of suckass review in the Wall Street Journal of the
recent movie of Joe Gould's Secret, directed by Stanley Tucci and
starring Ian Holm as Professor Seagull. I highly recommend the story of
this great saint of the church to any and all subgenii. The book is
difficult to find but may be republished in conjunction with the movie
(And anyone who likes good movies should see any Stanley Tucci film they
can anyway - Big Night, for example, is one of the best food movies
ever).
