Byron Werner's MARTIAN LOVE GROTTO is indeed "where Easy Listening and Psychedelic pass the bong!" Dedicated to the idea that these 2 seemingly opposite styles are in fact part of the same spectrum, The MARTIAN LOVE GROTTO playfully bounces from `hip' to `square' and back again until the listener has no choice but to surrender to the Enjoyment of the Music for its own sake, free of the worries of "what others would say if they caught me grooving to this!" The obscure and familiar similarly rub shoulders as Byron hauls out treasures from his vast collection. Every now and then he stages one of his famous BIG SHOWS where he plays 3 or 4 things at once for 4 hours without a break in a marathon Psychedelic Sonic Stew not heard since the Glory Days of the Late 60s, if ever!
