Actually, "Slack" is a crucial concept in a game from Steve Jackson
called "Chez Geek." It's a traditional card game (which means it's
not a trading card game, like Magic) about the long-suffering lives we
geeks live. The game rules describer how to survive living in an
apartment with roommates, while doing your best to achieve your goals:
"watch TV, sleep, get nookie, and try to earn enough SLACK to overcome
the stress of your job."

We know Steve Jackson is a SubGenius, and this proves it even more: he
publishes a game that tricks us into paying money for a card game that
simulates what we do in REAL LIFE. Talk about Slack!
