SIMPSONS creator on the lam

On the heels of a scandalous episode of THE SIMPSONS where cartoon characters preached the glories of drug use to millions of impressionable viewers, creator Matt Groening has skipped out of town just one step ahead of the Homeland Security forces sent out to California to detain him for `questioning'. The episode in question, where the patriarch of the Simpson clan, Homer, joyfully puffs marijuana `joints' and apparently enjoys himself, also featured offensive dialogue wherein it was suggested that acting president George Damien Bush has a monkey face. Rumor has it the yellow-bellied Mr. Groening has fled to the islands of Hawaii where he mistakenly believes they have no extradition treaties with the United States. "Let's just say that his reservation is waiting for him at an `exclusive Caribbean resort'," snickered inquisitors in Washington D.C. "We've been wanting to `have a talk' with him for QUITE a while now and we're salivating at the possibility!"
