Yes, I have seen this book in Boston, in a used book store about 4 miles
from the "Mother Church."

BTW Ken Burns is Con Lite. He is the tool of the new corprate PBS.
Anti-information for the new dark ages.
His Jazz show was shameful. Dissed or left out anything that white
folks can't dance to.

Didn't see most of his Twain show but I did see him pass over his most
important book; "Letters from the Earth", saying it was a product of a
diffacult time.

Bull Shit

EVERY SUB SHOULD READ THIS BOOK.

Check it out. More bitter insight into this dammed Hu-man race then any
other 12 books.

I think I read this, or at least an excerpt from it, once. But I don't
remember where. I recall some nasty comments about how Mary Barker Eddy
had set herself up as Infallible, for one thing.

It probably was. That doesn't mean it isn't RIGHT.

You can find it at:

Some good stuff. Essential reading if you want to argue with fundies.

Thanks for posting that URL. Yes, EVERY SUB SHOULD READ THAT BOOK.

I am not a bit surprised that the "Nice New World" revisionists would
want to gloss over Twain's more, uh, blunt writings. Benjamin Franklin
is another old wise guy who often gets the Tom Sawyer whitewash, where
the Pinks try to deny the Hate of a Great Man.

Yah. I always kinda liked it about him that he chewed on Mary
Bakeready. Now that her chumps are all dying off, it seems even
MEANER.
