Okay, I may just be on alt.binaries.slack

The cataloging of SubG TV episode 1 is nearing completion!

I thought I'd parade the ideas here and garner some input and perhaps
(dare I dream) some submissions. Requirements for submissions are at
the bottom of this long document.

This will be a fifteen minute short. It's title:

SubG TV episode 1 : X Day V

That's the general theme. And here's another thing that needs to be
said. I know a lot of people have BS'd the hell out of this church as
far as making a video. A lot of people are all talk. I know no one has
ever come through on a short for Stang before. I know everybody has
lost faith. So here it is:

It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening.
It's happening. It's happening.

That's right. It's happening. I shit you not. It's happening. I've
made a lot of proposals, but have never before said it's happening. And
you know what? It's happening. I swear on my balls, it's happening.

SubG TV episode 1 : X Day V

I thought this would be a good place to start. I am currently editing
the raw footage into pink digestible chunks. Stang's opinion: X Day is
a "you hadda be there" affair. I'm creating attention-defecit fast
edits to try and swing that opinion around. Storyboarded, it'll look
kind of like this:

1) Opening credits: Between 1:00 and 1:30 minutes.

Between me and Sexmortus, an opening will be created that will give the
viewer a basic, overall introduction to the whole religion. 1:30
minutes is indeed long for an intro, but unexplained high weirdness
frightens pinks. And anyway, if more of these shorts get created, I'm
sure CTV will be airing them randomly. This intro will knit them
together.

2) X Day defined : narrated

This chunk of the movie will delve into a more explained idea of X Day,
and what it means to be already at X Day V. It will start from the
book's perspective. Will need some scans from the BIG BOOK, and
possibly a bit from Arise! if it fits well.

3) Brushwood scenes

When that's done, there will be a montage/narrator sequence of scenes
from Brushwood. I took some general peopless scenes around the camp,
I'm hoping to drum up some witty dialogue for it.

4) Interviews

There will be a series of spun clips of interviews from XDV. Spun,
meaning sound bytes. Once again, thanx to all of you that did
interviews for me. The spun bytes will be sprinkled throughout the
short for a dynamic flavor.

5) Events

Hopefully, the bytes will introduce scenes from SubG events. If not, a
bit of narration over clips where their sound is not so neccessary to
lead to explained clips without my annoying voice. I don't intend to
use too much of any given event to keep it all interesting. Got some
good footage, including some of Lil's wedding which was very cool. The
burning of the Bobhead, swag auctions, etc.

6) The payload

7:00 am. We start with a few short bytes, real ADD stuff. A short
interview with the first yeti present at the pavillion, then the event.
After 7:00, some depressed yeti, more quick bytes. Then, my last
narration of the show.

7) Rants

Pre and post rupture rants. Not any one in particular, and certainly no
clip longer than about 15 seconds, with perhaps the exception of
Phlioghd's raps which would be an absolute sin to cut up. Great rants
from all stretches of high weirdness.

8) Music

I want to head off this thing with a music video from St. N and Hellena
Handbasket. I'm really hoping this works out, and I've chosen
Discotheque, mainly because #1 it's an awesome song, and #2 it was the
big send off and all the yeti were dancing on stage. I did this with
one camera, and hopefully, I've enough cut aways to keep this from being
a static image.

9) Credits

Will probably just be rolling credits on a dimmed Dobbshead background.
Will evolve if I have the time and energy after this is all done.

So that's it. I believe I have enough material to make this video
currently on my comp. However, there are so many damned talented people
here, and the video will only get better with more submissions. I would
love artwork, animations, clips, or even just ideas. If you've just
some words to submit, I'd love to hear them. I detailed everything
going into the film, and I hope this will make good guidelines.

If any yeti are interested, please write me here or to my active email
account listed above.

Submissions always welcome. Extra guidance ready if asked. Criticism
welcome as long as it's constructive and offered in good faith. Please
no Stark Fist of Removal.
