From the Art War Battle Front: "For those Christians like me that are not willing to take it any more."

This is definitely one I'm saving for my "War On Art" archive.
From Renderosity.com:

--------------
Hello all:
Too bad the complain and Discussion forum has been removed and due the lack
to where express our feelings about some subject matters I don't know where
I can post a complain.
It seems that some of the members of this community who has powerful admin
frinds delights making profane pictures about our belives. I want to ask
what could be happen if some member with lack of knowledge starts to make
profane pcitures about Mahomed or Budah, even agains Jews? I bet there will
be a massive blamming against that person, I know that a lot of us
(Christians) don't want to do something about it because you are afraid to
be catalogued as a fanatic, to defend your belives against someone who are
making a mock of them is not a fanatism act, it is an act of courage. I
want to let very clear that I'm not against freespeach, but I do belive
that freespeach has its own border, that border starts where other people
could be feel offended by a dumb picture who has the only purpose to ufend
a big human group as the Christians. I'm just tired of this abusive person
who has the support of Renderosity's admins to bother other people belives.
I sent an e-mail message to the admins about this abusive behave and got
not answer about this constant and anoying behave. I will not ask you to
protest and send massive e-mails to the admins of this site, why? because
they will not listen to you, I will just ask you to boicot the store for
one week, don't buy anything from the Renderosity's store just for one week
to let them know that you are not willing to take it anymore direct insults
against your relgious belives. I know that we are a majory, don't be afraid
to express your disapoint against this abusive character we acting as a
United community could make the things to change over this place in a
respectfull manner. Any hating campaign against any religion first starts
as a mock of it, then the things turns more seriously, at least is what
human History has tought us, we as a Christian community are under attack
by a hatting campaing from some one who don't respect the must elementary
human rights (as the right to belive in any religion you want).
My requests is to have removed the offensive pictures from this forum and
get a satisfaction from the character or Renderosity's admins about why
they let the pictures over here.
Just a final personal statement, I'm not doing this for fanatism, but
because any human religion deserves a minimum of respect, so you don't need
to be Christian to be agreed with this message, when someone makes a mock
of any serious belive he is attemting againsts the most elementals
personality rights. Why do we have to be tolerant to one person who has not
the will to be tolerant with our belivies?
One Final note for those who are proffesional pisser keep away of this
threath please.

Best Regardings

By george, I think that this letter is art in itself. A small
version would be a good background for a picture, and if put
through that ancient program "babble", the run through a text-
to-voice synthesizer, one could produce hours of mumbling
inanities!

Hell, I'm saving it too. That feller sounds close to the
edge. I wonder what percentage of Christians share his
views. His speling says "home scoold in a crischin
envirment". Oops.... I believe I was mocking his beliefs...

For a cheap thrill, use the Bell Labs web based text to
speech synthesizer:

I like the raspy option.

Congratulations - it seems that your art has had exactly the effect
you've wanted it to have. Next time I'm offended by a dumb picture
who has the only purpose to ufend a big group as the SubGeniuses, I'll
be sure to write a letter of complaint too.

Or maybe I just won't look at that picture. That'll learn you.

I wish someone would make a diaramma or a doll house with Jesus,
Marx (Groucho), Buddha, Marlon Brando, Mohammed, Elvis, and Davy
Crockett, as the figurines. Then have the the audio portion come
from the synthesized mumblings.

Or paint a picture of them sitting around a table playing poker,
like that guy with the dogs. Or maybe carve a totem pole to look
like their heads are stacked upon another, instead.

I could sell stuff like that.

Sphinx, you evidently haven't been reading your Performance Art and
Fine Art News. I am pretty sure that all THREE of the things you
suggest have been done. I don't know that they were SOLD, though. And I
don't believe that you could sell stuff like that, because I don't
think you could keep a straight face that long. Not right in front of
somebody. alt.fan.keanu-reeves, that's different.
