Future Projects

While on this tear, I prepped the art for yet more compilations to come, as soon as all the parts arrive, so to speak:

A Dozen Hours of Slack in Stereo MP3 - Volumes 9 and 10

80 Hours of Slack in Mono MP3 (#s 824-880 or so)

ALTERNATE 75 Hours of Slack in RA and MP3 (this is a mirror image of the existing version of shows 530 - 692: they're all the original RealAudio and RealMedia files, not the low res MP3s which were made from those later. (Also, 764-806 in MP3 - shows previously available only in Real Audio.) This is simply to provide an alternative for those who prefer RA and RM to MP3.

If you ask me, these low res "80-shows per disk" versions are crasppy sounding; the stereo Dozen Show Volumes are WAY better. It says so right on my ads. YET PEOPLE KEEP GOING FOR THEM. I guess the price per show may enter into that equation somehow.

One can fit an awful lot of sound onto a CD in MP3 format. Here are all-MP3 collections we could probably make available:

Puzzling Evidence 2002 - all shows

ESO Radio Shows 2002 - uncut, whole shows (the live parts, leastwise)

"SubG Songs and Rants in MP3 1" might include:

Media Barrage 5 clips
Stang rant from Starwood 2002 (professionally recorded)
Songs of X-Day
Minute of Slack Collection
Misc. Collage & Rant
Oldies(HoS 860, 861)
Whole Devival - Akron 2002
HoS 447-Gulf War Shows

All of that and much more fits on one disk (at 22 mhz).

SubG Songs & Rants 2 could be:

ESO Radio Best-Of 2002
Rants, misc.
Beachland Devival 3-15-02 edit
Swinging Love Corpses live at Off Broadway
ESO - SEX in ANOTHER DIMENSION whole album
Collages (misc HoS materials)
Music (Bobsongs 5 sampler, Lamprey Systems)

These are stashes I already have, and can copy fairly easily. People do buy the MP3 collections; in fact, I haven't really tallied it but I suspect we sell MORE in MP3 now than we do in regular CD audio.

What would ya'll want and buy? What would ya'll even DOWNLOAD?

DVD possibilities

Thanks to the gorgeous Gription Clench Memorial DVD burner, I have been making DVDs... DATA ones, back-ups of our gigantic Church media stashes. But it's only a matter of ... time... before I can finally finish tweaking up Dobbsfilm Shorties and make a DVD master and some copies. After I learn HOW, of course. But there are Mac progs for KIDS that do that now. Then ARISE. I want to update ARISE here and there, throw in a Bush and a Clinton, change the sales contact stuff, maybe quick clips showing the principles NOW, as a ghastly reminder of TIME'S RAVAGES and the fact that we're STILL AT IT.

PS

Philo just called to yak. Instead of talking about girls or griping about BayAryans like normal, he ended up advising me at length regarding PHP and MySQL interelational database programming, which I am studying and which he knows inside and out. This also happens when I talk to my son - geek talk. Only it's equally geeky multimedia and video related jargon. Either way, I find myself actually spewing out streams of pure jargon, words that have only existed for a few months and will be obsolete in a few more.

These MUST TRULY BE the End Times. Except that they probably aren't, heck durn it.
