secure rights to the huge oil reserves in the Caspian Sea region.
2. May 14, 1997: Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Unocal sign agreement to
build oil and gas pipelines across Aghanistan to ports in Pakistan,
opening access to lucrative Asian markets. Proposed
builder-Halliburton. Feasibility study-Enron (!).
3. Gradually blend in Taliban and bin Laden. Allow time for sufficient
provocation. Terrorize, subjugate and serve.

Dessert: Appoint Unocal employee, Hamid Karzai, as President.
