Well, it's official now. Saddam Hussein has "officially" defied
President Bush's ultimatum to leave Iraq within 48 hours (and there
are now only 30 hours to go). Dollars to doughnuts says the planes
are in the air right now, and by this time tomorrow we'll be seeing
flashy military-approved video footage of Baghdad under attack.

I'm certainly in agreement with the folks who've been saying that
Saddam Huseeon is a tyrant, a murderer, a despot, and that his ouster
is coming at least ten years too late. In spite of his whining that
attacking Iraq would be an "attack against Islam," any action designed
to kick that asshole out and hopefully sever a few of his limbs in the
process is more than justified. If only there was a way to get him
out without at least several thousand innocent lives being lost in the
process.

So why do I still feel like shit because of this? Because even though
the war is justified, we are *still* being lied to and used.

Dubya's primary objective has been to kick Saddam out of Iraq. We've
all known this since the day he first announced his candidacy for
President. We've been predicting a war with Iraq since his first day
in office. He's wanted to do this from day one...and in fact, he HAS
to do it. If he backs out and allows Saddam to get away, then his
career is ruined and he will never be elected.

This is why the champagne bottles were popped open on September 11.
The terrorist attacks were the perfect excuse to get the country riled
up and behind the President in backing his "war on terrorism." This
so-called "war on terrorism" has been used to do everything Dubya and
his cronies have wanted to do: create the Department of Homeland
Security, crack down on undesirables, and (especially) get Saddam out
of Iraq.

If we had remained focused on our "war on terrorism," then we would
have gone after the terrorists. They're still in Afghanistan and
Pakistan -- anyone remember Afghanistan? They're in Indonesia and the
Phillipines, blowing people up and recruiting more brainwashed
fanatics. We should have gone right in there and done things *right,*
by wirking *with* an Islamic government to crush the terrorists and
show the world that we can work side-by-side with Muslims. But
instead, we're going after Bush's pet target and getting the entire
Islamic world pissed off at us...because *no one* believes us when we
tell them that we're doing this to "fight terrorism."

And they're right -- this isn't the "war on terrorism" that we asked
for on September 11th. It's more goddamn fucking politics, and it's
yet another case of politicians and fat white men in business suits
getting in front of TV cameras and LYING to us all, day in and day
out. We *know* they're lying, but we accept it. We approve of it.
We know that Dubya's going to get his war, no matter what, and all we
can do is hold a few protests that make for a couple of minutes of
good TV and nothing else.

So here we are, doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons.
We're marching forth to kick a despotic, murdering tyrant out of Iraq,
which is the right thing to do. But we're doing it not *because* it's
the right thing to do, but because it's what Dubya has wanted to do
since day one. And he and his cronies have lied to us and lied to the
world to make it happen.

And they laugh when we say that it's really the CONSPIRACY.

Right you are. W owns the war, and W's buddies will reap the
profits from the rebuilding of Iraq, using the profits from
the sale of Iraqi oil. It's not about oil, it's not about
freeing the Iraqi people, it is about ego and infrastructure
rebuilding contracts.

My grandest fear is that it's not about any of those things, which we can
understand to some degree, but rather about 'bringing it on' and setting the
Armageddon Machine in motion. I hate InstaGeddon - I want the real, organic
Xist-induced permanent cleansing, not some hyped-up killer ape pinkoid
imitation cheapo spray-on Kill-a-Rama that only LOOKS like End Times, the way
an UnHappy Meal LOOKS like food.

They have also been making Noises about Iran's Nuclear Reactors. SInce we are
in the neighborhood..........

Once they talk starts up for teh Iran attack, the shit will certianly hit the
fan.

It's not the fact that Saddam is an evil dictator that murders people. It's
the fact that his being an evil dictator and murdering people is an excuse
to barge in and grab oil wells. If there were no oil wells, the US would be
the last begrudging participant in a UN led coalition to boot his arse out.
Remember Serbia? Clinton made it a moral duty for the US to save the
Serbians from total genocide, but nobody gave a shit because the serbians
didn't have oil. Bottom line. And nobody remembers how well that worked
except the serbians.

Liberating brown people was the perfect excuse for the barons of the
Industrial Revolution north of Virginia to go in and kick the asses of the
slave owning jerks who owned the huge breadbasket of cotton and crops down
south. Secession and the bombardment of a fort in South Carolina was the
perfect excuse. It was also the first draft, which the industrial barons
were able to buy themselves out of for $300. Those who couldn't were
obviously their servants, so it was their job to go kick some Southern ass
as a duty to their country's economy. I mean, as their moral duty to
liberate the brown people that only the Quakers really gave a shit about
freeing and a lot of white people died believing they were doing. Just so
their clueless grandkids could have a gun or knife held to their head when
walking through the wrong neighborhood, by a bitter ignorant dolie who wants
reparations because he hates the culture his grandaddy had to fight to be
"integrated" into, how nice of us. And people wonder why I don't take my
culture or country seriously; we're simply money offshoots of British
Imperialism. They first ruled by bloodline, which we thought was unfair, so
we kicked 'em out and rule by money instead. And the brown dolies who hate
white people are just participants in the whole cycle.

Or none of the above, it's all a matter of choice. I can name many
countries that are perfectly viable and active the way they are without
participating in oil spats and declaring war on brown people. France is
perfectly fine, so is Canada. As a matter of fact, most of the world is
perfectly fine; our country is the only one not ruled by a dictator or
communist regime that is so damn keen on propaganda. Why? Because if you
step outside of the US you will find that most countries are calmer, better
developed, and safer than ours.

The English were really damn good at saying that behind closed doors, and
implementing it under the guise of civilized (Protestant) christendom. When
a certain fungus started turning praties black in some backwater shithole
full of stupid tribal peasants in 1846, who were barred on pain of death
from eating any of the wheat, barley, and vegetables that they were still
growing for their English landlords, the brits cheered behind closed doors
and helped it along by blockading food shipments and only allowing ships
full of peasants to leave. Queen Viccie herself was noted to have mentioned
being thankful for such a turn of events. 5 million either died or got
shipped out.

Then a huge shipment of corn was snuck in from a bunch of poor brown people
peasants, who couldn't afford to save the British occupied stupid pratie
eating peasants let alone themselves, even though the US government was
currently herding THEM into corrals and making them sleep in smallpox
infected blankets. The reason? The stupid feather wearing dog eating brown
peasants believed that the stupid pratie eating peasants across the ocean
were the few white people left who had souls, and they were in danger of
complete extinction due to Imperial eugenics dictated by culture rather than
nature. The corn made only a small dent but saved enough lives for them to
rebreed and kick ass in 1916.

Right now, human nature marches on. Either you are a righteous victim or
you are a righteous perpetrator, or you are observing from under the boji
tree and remembering that it will be the same always, just different.

Aleister Crowley said in the Book of the Law, "Kings will be kings and the
slaves shall serve...stamp down the stupid and the weak..." blah, blah,
blah. He was just as much a product of British culture, and worse, his was
a rich American family. He psychologically rebelled against imperial
bullshit with what he thought was a spiritual and magickal revolution, but
only dug himself deeper by encouraging his adherents to choose being a king
or a slave. Even the most rebellious of psychic rebellions was still
participating in the Imperial pecking order of kings and slaves. Few
realize the option that they can be neither, because this is our culture and
if we don't step outside and look, we can't see our own eyes or smell our
own nose.

You can be a SubGenius or whatever you think works, but that doesn't mean
shit till you stop being a Brit. Or Roman, or Nazi, or whatever the hell
current empire is secretly forcing you to serve through your rebellion or
obedience.

But there's my point in a nutshell. Fussing or
fretting about our Roman or Brit or Nazi lords
is the flip side of embracing their post-EOW,
post-Acrockofshitic weltanshuaang.

How many young SubGenii will be called away to
fight in the realpolitik wars of Empire-by-
another-name? Not many, one can hope, if the
force of Slack is with them and they don't get
caught up in *politics*, a nasty addiction.

But even the old Yetisyny seem hypnotized by the
idea of "pro-" or "anti-", and need to remember
that A THIRD WAY is an individual thing, NOT an
aspiration of nations. The Dubyah cannot be
swayed by a thousand overcooked naked Australians
doing aerobics to the oldies, AND WE SHOULDN'T
EVEN BOTHER trying to get him to take off his
clothes and dance nekkid for peace.

Do not fall to the notion that nations may be
at peace. Even Ireland may seem flaccid and
indifferent, but it too would rise up and become
obnoxiously tumescent if it thought the brass
ring of dominance lay before it. Because it too
would assert its *rights*, and demand its *say*
in the bloataucracy that is the Franco-Kraut EU,
and even do its damndest to destroy the entente
if it thought it could become a "player."
