Just because I'm in a playful mood, I'm going to start a long,
meandering thread:

What are some of the more memorable "exploding head" scenes you've
seen in the movies? Let's define "exploding heads" as anything where
people die from being shot in the head, or a person's head bursts or is
decapitated for some reason or another.

SCANNERS is on this list, obviously, but then again so is the scene in
THE GODFATHER PART II where Vito Corleone kills Don Fanucci. And
Tommy (Joe Pesci)'s death in GOODFELLAS.

Any others?
