REAGAN'S POLYP "best of" compilation CD called "Love Overdrive" on
Trashfish Entertainment
PO Box 56497 Little Rock AR 72215
http://www.trashfish.com

CD Now has it at

The liner notes are by me and the famous folk singer Bob Dylan.

(Seriously... if you don't believe me, buy the album! Or just look for
it in stores.)

Hour of Slack old timers will recognize Reagan's Polyp. I will start
playing it again on the show, but only parts, since it's got a LOT of
profanity.

Mayhaps I shall post MP3s... yas, that's it.

Here's what was on the binaries newsgroups last couple of weeks that I
nabbed:

Whatever the auto-shuffle on the MP3 player comes up with.

I tend to heavily listen to metal and classical. While washing dishes,
I've relied on Carcass' *Heartwork*, Satyricon's *Nemesis Divina*, and
Emperor's *Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk* and *IX Aequilibrium*. As
always, I'm obsessed with Apocalyptica's *Cult*. Other bands in heavy
rotation as of late include Akercocke, Totenmond, Dracena, maudlin of
the Well, Wykked Wytch, Sunseth Sphere, Darling Demoniac, Merlin, and
the mighty Root from Czechoslovakia.

On the classical end, aside from heavy doses of Wendy Carlos, I've been
checking out Giacinto Scelci, and Frances-Marie Uitti, the 'cellist who
uses two bows at once!!! Mind-warping, really.

where students learn how to do something other than hug trees and hate
America for a living."

Is there no end to this man's talent? He seems to have done
everything but buggered the Pope.

Moondog, but to be honest almost anyone who actually listens to it
eventually gives in and starts drumming it out on various bits of furniture
so it may not count. Mr McFalls chamber (needs more than one listen -
actually best appreciated live), Mingus (mostly blues and roots), and now
because Ivan has brought them up again Reagan's Polyp - Cream Gun, which is
great way beyond being possibly the rudest pressed CD I own (Some of the
Tiger Lilies CDs give it a close run). Must not forget the The Residents,
amurikas greatest gift to man kind.

I've missed out a bag of commercial stuff (Divine Comedy, Radiohead, Robyn
Hitchcock, MHS, Loop Guru, Gorky's) and Radio 4.
