Without looking, what does your coffee cup say?

On one side: "Dignity Memorial" in an oval logo with a stylized oak
tree. The logo is pretty classy and well-designed.

On the other: "Thieme Funeral Home," "White Chapel Memorial Garden," and
"Eastlawn Cemetery" or maybe "Eastlake Cemetery," with phone numbers for
each. (No, I don't remember the phone numbers.) All are centered in
16-point Brush Script, obviously cranked out in about thirty seconds by
someone with Microsoft Word and no design talent or training whatsoever.

A friend bought it for me, saying he saw it while he was at a thrift
store and thought of me because he "knew I liked that kind of stuff."
And indeed I do.

I have TWO coffee cups and neither one says a word, whether they're actually
looking at me or just slouching around with their handles behind their
backs. What are they thinking? I couldn't say; their motives and reasoning
are as alien to me as a Martian teenager's. But one has a diagram of a
coffee molecule passing from a liquid to a gaseous phase and the other has
the logo of a now-defunct British assurance company on it's 300th
anniversary. Neither has bathed in days.
