Stang at Starwood '04? Why should anyone bother going this year, when you've
already got it on tape?

"And as long as there are people who find the whole idea of a 'state of
normalcy' for 'our world' to be an inherently fucked-up idea, there
will be a Church of the Subgenius. Or SOMETHING WORSE.."

Anybody who was am going to be there NEED MUST will went. If they
isn't, they will did violate causality and break the universe. We does
not can have that.

Naturally it can only be explained in omnitemporal grammar.

i heard that causality's a crock. It's a rationalisation to stop our
brains from melting when confronted by the almost complete randomness
of the universe, unprepared. The CON reinforces it of course. If we
ceased to believe in the delusion of causality, patriarchal "do it or
else.." society would immediately break down and be replaced by really
incredibly fun times.

of course we'd realise this more easily if our ability to think
analytically hadn't been drastically truncated by the fluoride in our
water supply.

and even if, hypothetically, all i say is invented, why would you want
a universe you could break so easily? they're nothing like the
universes we had when i was a lad. built like brick outhouses they
were. tinker with causality, fold spacetime into a 5-D mobius strip,
populate them with an infinite number of false prophets...
whatever you did, those babies could take it.

by the way, Hi all. i have no lengthy moniker since i'm not of the
True Faith. (i'm keeping my US$30 until the last second, just in case
the Mormons are right) but your posts provide me with hours of
brain-gibbering terror for which i thank you, and my glands thank you.

Causality, and it's cousin simultaneity, are the inevitable and
necessary conclusions drawn by these lumps of endothermic reactions
swimming in the entropic sea. Entropy is the current we try to swim
upstream against, in order to spawn more endotherms. Even our strong
force physics follows this line, apparenly non-symmetrically if you
believe the Down-antiBotton/antiDown-Bottom assymmetry results.

Hawking deduces the existence of "imaginary time" (in the sense of
perpendicular to our perceived time stream, such as the imaginary
component of complex numbers, not in the sense of unreal). TOE
requires it, and quantum physics had the necessary term, but it was
one of those things they "normalized" out because they didn't know
what to do with it. It causes infinities in their results.

Figure: a photon escapes the particle cloud of the big bang and goes
flying across the universe, and collides with the last particle to
exist before heat death of the universe. The whole time it has
traveled at the speed of light. To outside, time does not pass for it.
From its point of view, it just experienced the entire span of the
universe, from start to finish, simultaneously.

It CAN'T. It can't "exist" as interacting with this universe if its
own time scale is less than the Plank scale, and 0 time duration is
less than Plank. It has to have a duration outside Einsteinian 4space.
Some 5+ dimension exists in which that string vibrated, and a
vibration implies a frequency and a frequency implies a time which it
did not "have".

I was DynaSoar long before there was even an alt.slack. I just got the
Doktor part when I paid my dues, and the next thing I did after
getting my card was try to hook up a printer to two different
computers (different operating systems) at the same time. It worked
perfectly, first time, and I didn't even load a driver into either OS.
mSo I knoew I was a Doktor, a priest in the arcane technological
magicks. I knew that before of course, but this was proof.

You can always go the easy route and pay the $1 for the pamphlet. The
results will convince you. Then you can pick more name if you like,
and spout off bullshit like I just did. SURE, it's all true, but
bullshit none the less.

I don't believe in causality.

I don't have a reason for that, of course.
