A couple of weeks ago, my wife spotted an ad in Reader's Digest offering
a free End Times book free of charge, no strings attached. You can order
a copy at:

http://www.the-end.com

My copy arrived today, and I'll pass along any entertaining snippets
if/when I encounter them (and my time is limited these days, I've been
busy nursing a sick relative).

In the interim, however, I did a quick Google lookup on this guy, and
have found little on him - and nothing whatsoever to suggest that he's
in the same league as Hinn or Tilton...

Do we have a dossier on this fellow?

About Ronald Weinland
Author of The Prophesied End-Time

Ronald Weinland was raised on a farm in a small Kansas town and relates his
experiences to those of Amos from the Bible, rather than those who might be
considered to have a more prestigious background. He graduated with a Bachelor
of Science degree from Ambassador College (an institution of the Worldwide
Church of God) in 1975 with a major in Theology and a minor in mathematics.

He was a pastor of the Worldwide Church of God for 12 years before taking over
as the pastor of the United Church of God and later founded the Church of God
– PKG (Preparing for the Kingdom of God) in 1997.

As the pastor of The Church of God – PKG, Ronald Weinland, helps scattered
brethren understand how the recent, turbulent history of the Church agrees with
those things that God gave testimony to concerning His Church at the end-time,
just before the return of Jesus Christ to earth.

The message Weinland brings is one of controversy and awe. He says
catastrophic events from acts of terrorism are about to be unleashed upon the
world, all of which are prophesized in the Bible, and the devastation far
exceeds the possibilities that experts predict.

Weinland says that people may not be accustomed to hearing about modern day
prophets, except for those who are fanatics, loons, and the mentally disturbed,
but being a prophet is the role that God has given him. He is fully aware of
the ridicule that such a message brings and believes that the only proof will
be time itself.

Weinland has been serving God for more than 30 years. He and his wife, Laura,
travel across the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and parts of
Europe [i.e. der Fatherland -- Assco ] helping brethren spread their message.
Ronald and his family live near Toledo, Ohio where he is the president and
pastor of The Church of God-PKG.
