A Florida Politician is trying to revoke a cluase in the State Constitution
seperating Church & State.

Does this mean we, as paid in full Subgenius Minsyters, Popes. Popetts, and
high Epochs will have the power of life & death in that State?

Can we arbatratly put someone to death for not sinning withing the guidlines of
"BoB"?

(US Bill of Rights)

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment
of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

A strong argument can be made that this allows the
states to do so, in that it specifies that "Congress"
is prohibited. The popular interpretation of "The
Establishment Clause", has been wildly extended down
to even the local level. The current national debate
is whether it is the business of the federal government
to dictate areligious practices to the entire country.

(Florida Constitution)

SECTION 3. Religious freedom.--There shall be no law
respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting
or penalizing the free exercise thereof. Religious
freedom shall not justify practices inconsistent with
public morals, peace or safety. No revenue of the state
or any political subdivision or agency thereof shall
ever be taken from the public treasury directly or
indirectly in aid of any church, sect, or religious
denomination or in aid of any sectarian institution...

Now, this is a lot more inclusive than the federal law,
in that it also precludes giving money to religious
schools in the manner of federal vouchers, which may
otherwise be legal, and religious sponsored charities.

It depends what the Florida politician actually said.
