Ok, this is weirdness right here. What do you make of this? Best I can tell,
they've hooked up a bunch of random number generators around the world,
constantly spitting out 0 or 1. The ratio of 0:1 should hover around 50%,
but can deviate wildly. Deviations have been observed prior to certain major
events, such as 9/11 and the tsunami.

Oh, and this is a project being conducted by PRINCETON.

I remember Terrence McKenna's novelty theory. He had this program that could
give a value that represents the level of 'novelty' in the world at any
given moment, and claims that the level of novelty spikes at certain points
in the worlds history. What would be interesting is if the two systems
displayed similar patterns of change. Brain hurts.

This is quite interesting

That's a coincidence! I remember the comic strip Ferd'nand, and Mrs.
Nenslo has a hat that looks just like his!!!

Then last night, we watched a movie called Destiny, directed by Yusef
Chahine, about the 12th century philosopher Averroes, and then right
after that we watched Last of the Summer Wine and the name of the
episode was Destiny and Six Bananas!!!

I take it the odds of your going to see "Son of the Mask" are well
below 1%.

I am giving some thought to Appleseed. Ever since Battlefield Earth I
have had a perfectly understandable aversion to movie theatres.

Ever since "Battlefield Earth," I have had an aversion to John
Travolta. More intense than my previous one, I mean. Still, I AM going
to see "Constantine;" its my Dobbsly duty because the character was
honed to his finest edge by Alan Moore. However, I am prepared to be all
prumpy afterwards if it sucks past the usual level. Wish me luck.

I can see three problems with "Constantine":

1) Keanu Reeves
2) They're changing ol' Con-job from British to Californian so there won't
be any silliness with the accent.
3) Keanu Reeves

Constantine was specifically drawn to look like Sting, so it's fairly
obvious who'd be ideal for the role. If he were a few years younger. And if
he could act.

I avoid "Battlefield Earth", both on the silver screen and in the printed
word, for many reasons.

Reeves as John Constantine?? Ewwwww! And I even kinda LIKE Reeves!

My fantasy was to do "Hellblazer" as an HBO miniseries, done by a bunch
of different directors with different actors as Constantine. I'm too
much a BtVS fan not to want James Marsters to have at least a brief go
at it, but there are other actors I like for the role, too. Ian Hart
is one.

Oh, and I prefer the Garth Ennis version to all others.

which point I am ready to be popped into the oven and lightly broiled.
