NNDB is an intelligence aggregator that tracks the
activities of people we have determined to be
noteworthy, both living and dead. Superficially, it
seems much like a "Who's Who" where a noted person's
curriculum vitae is available (the usual information
such as date of birth, a biography, and other
essential facts.)
But it mostly exists to document the connections
between people, many of which are not always obvious.
A person's otherwise inexplicable behavior is often
understood by examining the crowd that person has
been hanging out with.
Eventually, we will have synopses and analyses of
creative works by the people in the database,
including their books, films, and recordings.

So who are "they" and how do they determine who is noteworthy?

Well, obviously, "they" must be important and powerful,
because "they" have listed Rev. Ivan Stang. But you'll
note that "they" did not list very much about Rev. Ivan
Stang, so obviously "they" are not omnipowerful.

Oddly, Princess Wei stumbled across my page, and stubbed her toe, last
week while looking for my son's site... she'd forgotten his URL, and
Jeeved the lad's name, and one of the pages listed was this one.
They got the info off imdb I think... same wrong birthdate.
I'm just now going through OLD alt.slack posts I missed!
I'm so glad they picked a FLATTERING photo.
Anyway look who else I'm next to! Does this mean they're my good
buddies?

Apparently, all you have to do is kill a bunch of people to get in
there. But Stang has *hardly* *killed* *anyone*.
Looks like they are going to have to tighten up the process.
