My doctor once told me that I was not addicted to caffeine. This is the
third and final reason I need to find a new doctor.

That explains it! I cut down on my tea-drinking habit a few years ago,
and I've felt like shit ever since.

Thanks - this is life-changing news!

Mental disorder or not. I'm not giving up my 6-12 cups of Joe a day.
I've tried to switch to tea and the caffeine molecule doesn't feel the
same. Granted if I drink too much for too long I start expierincing
some of the bad things associated with amphetamine use. You know those
common Dionne Warwick concert and Disney movie score hallucinations.

Actually, the throwing-cats-at-people part is the lifestyle choice.
Simple practice teaches you that "forcefully" is the only way to throw
a (currently live) cat without it catching on and interfering with your
aim.

I have found it is best to grip said ball of fur, claws and teeth firmly by
the tail and to give the beast one good swing around before releasing the
weapon at the object of your ire (or desire). This insures the animal is
fully agitated and ready to shred the target upon impact while
simultaneously preventing any accidental self-injury. Once target has been
eliminated, you can happily enjoy your cup/pot of coffee to their
moans/screams of agony, sweet caphonic music indeed.

I personally prefer to keep a grip on the tail and use them as a repeat
flail. Its just more organic and I get more for my cat-whack dollar. Oh,
they are hateful little rotters, far too much like people. Why, you'd
think a cat could be a Subgenius at times. FSSST! FSSST!!

Well, yeah, but that works only if you have enough space around you to
do so. Perhaps about ten feet by ten feet with no obstructions to
interrupt the feline's path. (There must be a simpler way to describe
this.)

Ah, but see, there is a fault with the repeat flail of cat: These devious
little beasts are capable of the most fantastically impossible feats of
acrobatics & gymnastics when severely irked (as grabbing them by their tail
& flailing them about is CERTAIN to invoke). Feats that defy laws of
physics, particularly the ability to remove tail from hand while
simultaneously latching onto said hand and consequently shredding it and the
arm attached to it as it rapidly claws it's way to "safety". The likelihood
of said acrobatic feats occurring is inversely proportional to the amount of
space you have to safely swing the violent ball of claw, teeth & fur, the
less space, the more likely its going lacerate the offending appendage.
Hence my preference for only one good swing. Besides, there's plenty of
unwanted cats around to whack multiple targets (or the same one repeatedly
should prior projectiles retire elsewheres too quickly or without causing
sufficient mayhem). Oh, the furry!

Well that's perfectly valid, if awful, but like people, you can get a
lot more mileage out of 'em if you STUN 'em first. It worked for the
President and it can work for you.

Next: Tired of the cats? How to prepare the next door neighbor's
vicious, incontinent poodle Ajax for his ultimate utility as a cudgel.

My sister in law gave us a package of tea she got in Japan and I finally
opened it today and it has these little crispy rice or barley kernels
and tiny tiny POPCORNS in it along with the green tea and at first it
seemed just okay, kind of smoky but not unpleasant, but after about five
sips I start feeling like this is the absolute most delicious and
wonderful tea I have ever had!!! and before I am even done with the cup
I am thinking we only have a pint jar full of this wonderful tea and how
am I going to get more once I run out because the package is all in
Japanese and I have no idea what it's called or anything!!! I'm
thinking of this as an ominous sign.

The bad news is I come home from a bike ride today and find that the
same sister in law has for some stupid reason bought me a subscription
to Gourmet magazine WHICH I HATE and I have already written to cancel
the subscription. I am not interested in learning how to make prune
sorbet or rack of lamb, or looking at ads with opera stars selling
thousand dollar wrist watches, or ads for refrigerators with a
television in the damn door.
