Papa Joe Mama's "I Was a Cultist for the ATF"

It took him about 3 years from script to final edit so I'd give it
another three.

Papa Joe did dozens of funny radio plays on other subjects over the
years. He had his own show on Stanford U student radio in the 80s --
used to run Hour of Slack but he also did skit based shows and a fake
talk show, "Papa Prell," which was like Space Ghost only 15 years
earlier. He also did GREAT improv on the KPFA show with Puzzling
Evidence and Dr. Hal.

But he is now in Florida, running a Halloween Spook House biz!

Incidentally the main recording of that skit was done the afternoon of
July 5, 1998. In a TENT. Now stop and try to imagine what kind of shape
we "actors" were in, after X-Day Eve and X-Day Morn, at Brushwood, in
1998. There are plenty of photos of me standing nude in the pond at
7:15 am with 350 people pointing and mocking. The fact that only a few
hours later I was still able to croak out my lines with ANY energy at
all is a testament that I can in fact take a joke, and break a leg, and
the show must go on, and then some.
