Yeah, netphone is good--I had a buddy call me here in Washington, DC
from Bangkok, Thailand and talk for an hour!

I've been reading about that. Aside from yer computer speakers, what
else do you need? A mini-mic of some sort? Any squealing feedback to
address or what have you? I assume its pretty clean or it'd not be
gathering steam as a viable conduit.

As for clean, if you mean bradband, Thailand was a little like he was
talking into a V-8 juice can! But that's because he'd made some kind
of a mike cone out of a plastic Pepsi bottle. The call came here over
the regular phone. I've got mine setup so that I got a cheapo headset
w/ mic for outgoing calls. I think that the headset was $12.95--
a DJ headset would give better results, and run through the stereo amp
The phone company was offering three cell phones and high-speed
wireless internet for $99 a month--

a microphone and speakers, or headset. my ultra-cheap Mic. cost me about 50p and works fine, and
didn't cause any feedback. sound quality was excellent, although there's a slight lag if you're
talking to someone on a 'regular' phone via SkypeOut

A cheap headphone-microphone works great. The initial deposit is not too
big, and the sound quality, at least to Antibes France, is pretty good.

This is good to know. Now I can call Stang up, breath heavy and save a
bundle on the charges.

I have a VOIP enabled router, but I've yet to use the VOIP feature.
This is Officially...oh, I can't be arsed.
