Yes!

I take it that my posts went through -- I hope you were looking at the
nice big AVI version and not the teeny little RealMedia version because
you'll miss some primo prono if you only nab the small one. I hesitated
to post it but was hoping the hint of a movie would provoke a user or
two to get off their asses and try using proper Usenet binaries
downloading programs like Thoth or Agent instead of feebly attempting
to do it with a browser.

Note that the REALLY good high-res SVCD version is on
alt.binaries.monter-movies.

Yep I first grabed the small one in ABS but realised I needed more er well
clarity for some objects of the film that required greater attention so I
also got the one in Monter Movies, they did go through!

I concur, the movie .avi kicked ass. As far as good software to do
binary downloads, might I recommend:

Download Windows version here, though most Linux folks already got it
with their distro:
