As cleanup efforts continued, the fur was still flying
Monday, with parents furious that a cat spay and neutering
clinic was held in a Northwest Washington grade school.
Officials decided to cancel Tuesday classes to finish
cleaning the school.

The CAFETERIA and some classrooms and hallways at John
Eaton Elementary School were turned into feline operating
rooms where about 500 cats were fixed. Organizers said
most were strays they had trapped, but there were also
some house cats...
