Hey, I just downloaded the 2 new Hours of Slack off the website (very
good, as always, thanks for doing them.) Noticed that you're up to #975
and swiftly approaching HOS #1000. Anything interesting planned for the
show where you break into the quad-digits? Besides sitting around after
it gets done shaking your head and muttering "I can't believe I've done
1000 of these fucking things."

he could scroll back to 0000 and do a new series numbered exactly like
the old ones. imagine the confusion. "no, this is the NEW HOS #0023,
which is in part a replay of the OLD HOS #0996."

NO! I have NOTHING planned and no ideas! Although I could do the
prophesied All-Hour-of-Slack-INTROS show. If I tried to do that show
now, it would be half outros or else would use a lot of RERUN intros.
(We only have a half hour's worth of NEW, UNHEARD Intros!)
It keeps leading up to this show that's about to start for 59 minutes,
then suddenly there's an outro and it's over.
Show #999 is actually more portentious since that's the number of
"Bob", the anti-antichrist, who's three times cooler than the Anti-Bob"
333. #999 could fairly easily be one of those shows where I simply use
the Find system command to assemble all audio files on my drive with
the word "Bob" anywhere in the title. Again.
I could just start replaying the old shows from scratch, starting with
#1 (Oct. 1985). I have a tape of every single show.
But no... no... for... with strange eons, even death may die.

Actually, it would be interesting to catch those early shows. The old
Media Barrages were damn fine, and I remember "Bob's Earwax" as being
quality stuff as well.
Posting the Olde Showes could have that "retrospective" quality, you
know...
