Deep Impact

I can't remember but I swear this Temple comet was the subject of a
scare a decade ago that it might one day impact Earth and kill us all.
I wonder if this probe is designed with enough explosives to actually
destroy the comet. Maybe this thing IS a killer and this is our only
hope of survival... Of coarse if it was... no one would tell us.

Kinda strange that it is going to blow a hole in the comet possibly
large enough to fit a 14 story building in. What science does that
serve? I mean I understand diggin in to see what's underneath but 14
stories is 140 feet!

It seams to kind of fit in with that article about the Pope wiggin out.
Maybe this ultimate battle between good and evil is us vs the demon comet.

Just one question... Are we the evil or the good?

that's true, actually, come to think of it. If they determined it was
on a killer course, what would be the point of telling people? So
they have time to say "SO THIS IS IT, WE'RE GOING TO DIE" like in the
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

It would hurt PRODUCTIVITY!

Wow! That's a profound statement. Was that Douglas Adams too?

Did you know in one of the original Flood Stories of ancient Sumeria, God
decided to drown the world because people were making so much noise
partying, it kept him awake at night!

The more significant question is: Do we taste just like chicken?

So stop bathing in K.C. Masterpiece, dammit.

I am told I taste more like a double-stack with cheese, but that's just
one opinion. I am also told I taste like a Geritol lozenge stuck to a
dead guinea pig with a toothpick, like some hideous club sandwich.
I say I taste like a Subgenius.

I remember Deep Impact being "the meteor disaster movie with all the
hugging." I only saw the preview but there was a lot of hugging in it
and I say you can tell a lot about a movie from how much hugging is in
the preview.

My mom recommends The Aviator.

I watched Visconti's "Senso" last night. I am a big fan of Alida
Valli's eyebrows, especially in old Italian Technicolor.

He's got Technicolor eyebrows?
