I once saw an old bit of "bus tape" type video wherein an alleged
stage hand for "The Tonight Show" claimed that they all had to put a
nickel in the pot for every night that Johnny didn't speak to any of
them. The first time he did, the winner he spoke to would get the pot.
"So far the total is about $50,000."
