I must get this RIGHT, but HOW?

Today is MLK day, a blessed day off for most of the working set. I can
vaguely remember using this day to catch up on sleep, laundry, alcohol
consumption, and general Slack, that is, when I was working.
But now that I'm retired WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH A NATIONAL
HOLIDAY?
I had considered finding something that would put me in a coma for 24 hours,
to take a breather from retirement.
What a delicious quandary. If you have NOTHING to do, HOW CAN YOU DO LESS?

I find it funny that MLK day will never quite carry of popularity of
4/20.

It might be funnier to propose combining the two
holidays.
Since mari-ja-wana and negroes have a long
association in the minds of the authorities, it
would seem to be a natural.
You would smoke the mari-ja-wana, and meditate
on what it would be like to be kept down by
THE MAN. To live in fear that you would be
forced to drink from separate water fountains
and ride in the back of buses and be forced to
take a table instead of sitting at the counter
of the Denny's while the waitress sits on her
ass instead of bringing you the nachos and
banana split that you need for the munchies.
That be oppression. And you be needin'
reparations, like free wine coolers and HDTV
and shit.

I don't know what you're talking about.
I've never met you before in my life.
That story sounds like utter bullshit.
I wasn't there and it wasn't me.
I am *not* in denial. Shut up.

That Monday was such a complete and utter blank for me and the Princess
that we completely forgot two important birthday calls. We were so
Slacked Out that we even forgot to take our memory-erasing drugs... yet
our memories were STILL erased. We were THAT "in the Now." I woke up
yesterday and just about liked to shit when it sunk in just how much
deadline stuff like bill-paying I had TOTALLY BLOWN OFF. When Wei
retires, that will be like Slack APPLIED TO Slack within what was
already an OCEAN of Slack. Perhaps our completely blank Monday
harginges the way of the future.
The way of the future. The way of the future. The way of the future.
The way of the future. The way of the future. The way of the future.
The way of the future. The way of the future.
The way of the future.
