#1. They said it would never be clearly defined as to whether the skull is
an Aztec artifact or not.
#2. They said that the wheel marks could come from recent polishing. Or it
could have been done while cleaning it in 1897. Since it was discovered
then, the chances are good that there would be little use in faking such an
item.
#3. It is known that the Aztecs traded for stone from as far away as Utah in
the North and Honduras in the south. So they could have gotten a good sized
chunk of nice Brazilian Quartz crystal.
#4. It is not an Aztec artifact anyway. It is the SKULL of BOB made by
half-yeti artisans in the Hollow Earth...which he gave to the Aztecs just
before Cortez kicked their half naked, savage arses up and down the center
of Mexico. The skull was meant to be a warning about the White Gods. But the
Aztecs just couldn't believe in Bob...and so it goes.
