KFC has it's new slogan for spicy wings as "Chicken Capital USA", but
that really doesnt mean a whole lot. For instance,
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.html
states that poultry is one of the genral produced products (see toward
bottom of page). But you could look at these other countries and see
that it clearly states poultry as one of the country's products:
Mexico (North America):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/mx.html
Chile (South America):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ci.html
Czech Republich (Europe):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ez.html
Hong Kong (Asia):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/hk.html
South Africa (Africa):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/sf.html
Antarctica: has virtually no animal products except for fish.
Australia (Australia):
http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/as.html
Which leads me to believe that America/USA is not necessarily the
"Chicken Capital", or it could be possible that the effects of the
recent Tsunami has made America closer to the goal of being the
"Chicken Capital", but that would be false since this commercial has
been running for a month on most channels. AND, to the second part of
this research, it appears that "Sweet Home Alabama" plays in the
background of the commercial.

Yes,
It is unfortunate that someone such as I has to do this work, but if I
didn't do this research on the issue, who would?

As a resident of the State of Delaware, we claim the title of "Chicken Capital,
USA"
At any given time, there are enough chickens in the State of Delaware to give
one to every citizen of the USA.
At any given time, there are enough chickens in the DelMarVa Penninsular to
give one to all of North America.
Drive any of our highways at night and you shall see trucks hualing chickens to
the processing plants.
I think that Delaware should change its State Song to the OZark Mountain
Daredevil's song "Chicken Train"

I believe you may not fully comprehend the nature of the term. It does
not appear to me to indicate that the USA is the Chicken Capital of the
world, which it clearly does not say. I believe it indicates a "feeling
place" like Shangri-La or Fiddler's Green, which is the Chicken Capital,
in or of USA. That laughing place where every girl has long hair and
big boobs, every guy looks like a Sears Roebuck pajama model, every car
splashes up walls of gleaming water and raises clouds of beautiful dust,
and food FLIES and DANCES in the air.

"Chicken Capital USA"
sounds like a T-shirt you'd find in Japan
