Speaking of the Stooges

My sister and I were talking about what age is appropiate to indroduce her
Grandson to the Stooges.

He is now 7 years old.

She thinks we should wait another year or two.

I say, he already plays Vidoe games that make Hilter look like Heidi! So what
harm can seeing to stooges do him.

Seeing that this new group is full of Masters of The Stoogly Arts, I'd come
here for expert opionons.

Wait until he can explain why Curly just barks "woo-woo-woo-woo-woo"
when Moe hits him in the head with a sledgehammer, instead of dropping
dead.

For the love of BOB! I've been watching the stooges since I was in diapers
and I'm fifty years old now. Haven't killed anyone yet, nor have I pulled
anyone's nose with pair of pliers or hit them over the head with a
pipewrench. All I did was laugh my head off and get a lot of fond memories
of my three favorite stooges.

Oh, THOSE Stooges.
Iggy just had some reunion gigs with the Stooges I thought of.

Draw a smiling face on a watermelon, smash it with a sledgehammer and
tell him that's what REALLY happens when you do that. He'll either get
the message right away or try it on a friend. You'll have to decide what
level of risk you run with this particular child. If he can do it to a
pal and get away with it, then you have a serious problem.

Here's the score:

My moms barred me from watching the stooges when I was a small child
for the reasons outlined above. I am now the horrible unloved bastard
that will no doubt die cold and alone that you see before you, sitting
here at midnight posting to a newsgroup. You want him to end up like
me? Or worse, Nenslo? Give the kid the damn stooges and be done with
it.
