This is a heads-up to all Yeti and Discorian brethren who don't usually
visit alt.binaries.slack. Now is your chance to download The Mighty
Polar Bear (tm) collection of Uneasy Listening and Rare Bulldada audio
recordings.

Many of these recordings are difficult, if not impossible to find.
Some are actually easy to find, but you'd have to know where to look,
plus you'd have get off your fat ass and actually go find them, and
lets face it... how likely is that?

So, to make it easy for you, I'll be posting (at a lesurely pace,
dictated by my own capricious nature and unpredictable lifestyle) my
entire collection of Uneasy Listening and Rare Bulldada - wait, I said
that already, didn't I?

Most of these recordings were made in the late 80's and early 90's.
Many are from David Wisdom's Nightlines or Brent Bambury's Brave New
Waves on CBC Radio. Others come from various sources, mostly old
vinyl. Towards the end, I'll be posting some of my own DJ work from
the mid-eighties (depending on tape quality and whether I can find
them). I'll also post occasional sound bites and unusual cuts for
aspiring young dubmeisters. Bob knows, I'll never use them. Those
days are behind me now.

The files are all uuencoded in Mighty Polar 3ear (mp3) format, so you
shouldn't have any trouble. If you don't see all the parts, wait a bit
before requesting a repost. I'm told these things take time to
propagate through the network (always wanted to say that). Once, I'm
done, which will probably take a few months, I'll repost the lot, so if
you miss something, be patient - it will be around again.

Song information will be in the tags and the accompanying text message
(file #zero) If the artist info isn't there, it means I don't know.
If YOU know, please post that info, and perhaps other work by the same
artist or links to more information.

OK, coffee break's over. Now get back to work!.

Enjoy, or KILL ME!

The Mighty Polar Bear
