I bought a new gadget this weekend - an mp3 player after foaming
slightly over all that iPod coverage this week. However, I didn't get
an iPod - it's a block of white over-priced fugliness.
I packed the thing full of mp3 goodness and went for a walk. After a
stroll along the beach, where yet again I cursed myself for deciding
not to take my camera with me, I headed back inland.
At that point Pink Floyd's "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" started
playing and my relatively neutral mood started to lighten up by some
considerable degree. I began to grin my damn head off.
Now I'm back at base and I'm feeling a low after that high.
For me, music is the drug. It's also a main source of inspiration for
all that eyehurt I spew.
I intend to get high at werk tomorrow.

Lots of people get so the drug just doesn't work for them any more.
They are left only envy of those who can still toke up and get high.
