The Toronto Sun printed the most bizarre editorial cartoon yesterday.
There's this big human figure, the head-body-legs-arms were made out of
this cellular-automata pattern that had been 'fractalized' in
photoshop..... black-and-white so there was no bounding line, just a
limit to the high-contrast pattern in a human shape. The large gaping
mouth was a different black-and-white (like TV snow), and the eyes were
MISSING, they punched two small holes in all the papers (I saw a couple
of different copies on the subway)!!! And the speech bubble coming
from the static-mouth said: "I HARPO OPRAH'S IMAGE-GAME" At the feet
of this figure were a bunch of specks, I guess representing a crowd of
people and they were saying: "Look! Maybe his head will explode!!
Maybe our alien techno-parasite masters will "announce" their "arrival"
through him! I can't wait to squeeze in to one of those seductive gaps
in his outline!" But there was a larger person near the crowd, turned
away like he's leaving, a hooded cloak with intense eyes and big
mustache saying "He has his Father's eyes......."
Weird! Maybe it was for the Equinox, I don't know........
