Damn me if that "Ed" Bloom character wasn't the most "Bob"-like
character I ever done seen in a movie. Between that and the idiot glee
of his and Depp's "Ed Wood"...

There's an even more directly "Bob"-like guy in the movie musical of
Little Shop of Horrors -- first guy who buys one of the plants.

Ed Bloom did grin like "Bob" a few times and he did seem to attract
mutants. But I meant strictly the old Ed Bloom, and the reason he's
like my dad is because Pappy is from the deep south and has one of
those smooth weird accents, and like the Albert Finney character is an
endless font of charming bullshit.
