A comprehensive article on what form the draft is likely to take, and
what your options are, should you choose to decline.

That's why the draft targets the young. They haven't figured out the
angles yet.

The young are defined in that they don't yet get that they -need- the
angles.

So the dumb shits carry guns and shovels.

What a good piece, thanks for the reference.
Well, I think we should nook Canada. Ba-da-boom!
But seriously folks...

There was a bit of it by a guy billed as a "military sociologist"
If the bastards would stand still for analysis, there wouldn't be
a problem in the first place. "Military sociologist" sounds like
a dangerous occupation, like chimpanzee birthday cake
delivery guy. I got some feedback from a lady prof friend,
after I asked her if she thought that the Lynndie England's
would be rarin' to go, and she allowed as how they might.
We were also talking about why tom cats stink. To me,
it's just a pungent smell, and I don't get them fixed: I feed
them good stuff like raw liver and raw fish, and wink at them.
But evidently, although this prof woman can tolerate skunks,
she dislikes male cats to the point where she gets them "fixed"
to get rid of the smell and make them more docile and ladylike.

Go figure!

If Canada does not accept teh resisters, then other choices would be:

1) get a minor drug bust. Raises red flags in the vetting process.

2) Join the communist party. Sure "NO-GO"

3) Start going to your Doctor reguarly complaining about "cronic back
pain". If you can show a history of cronic back problems, the Military
will not touch you for fear of assuming a long term VA Liability.

4) Show your church "reverend" card. They might be stupid enough to
fall for it.

Other then that, Mexico offers a choice. Sure they might send you back
IF they catch you. But the part of Mexico south of Mexico City is a
great place to "Dissapper" And if you are caught, the Mexican
athourities are notriously corrupt.

Or Europe. If you can get there that is. Be sure the DHS will be
scrutinising people leaving the country more then those coming if they
think large numbers of potential draftees are leaving.

You could possibly get their via Mexico or Canada.

Soon we will be like the old East German Border I used to patrol when I
was in the Army. Fenced Borderes, heavily guarded to keep out people
IN!

Have you read The Handmaid's Tale?

The movie's worth the cost of a rental, but the book is better, IMO.
