Ha, ha, ha! That's funny!
But with the current furor over the future viability of the Social Security system,
some folks are grumbling over the cost of that and Medicare/Medicaid--
How much should be spent on a particular individual? There is plenty of
new life, and perhaps the moneys would be better spent on those who have
a future, rather than those who don't. There is a point of diminishing returns
when it cost very much to sustain a life that is for all purposes spent.
But then, it is easy to be generous when you are spending someone else's money.
