I rolled out of paradise and into Brisbane on a bus the other day.
At least it inspired this:
Razor wire fences,
Battened-down defences
Recline your seat and put yourself at ease.
Cop-tape round the jetty,
Someone blaring out Black Betty,
No Posters on the Council boxes please
From the skyline to the frowns
This place looks like Bungle sounds
The Concrete Jungle Grounds
I wanna Tear this Shithole down!
Exposure!
Buy the riverfront!
Let's find out who's the bigger runt
and who can serve a thicker slice of sleaze
WHY BE IN THE CBD?
A bliiboard screams,
And I'd agree,
If only it were meant the way it seems.
