Why be scared of death?

WTF is with that, the way I see it you either just die and nothing happens
or there is an afterlife in which you have no refernce to base any
assumption on.
If you die and thats it, there wont be any problem, you will be dead so you
wont remember shit, and you wont even know you are dead or be able to think
about those you left behind, as the great wahtshisname Subgenii said "once
you die you shut up for good" or something to that effect
And if you die and there is something called an "afterlife" as some say is
proven by the NDE experiance it also doesnt matter, cause you cant even
comprehened what "its" going to be like, and since we have no control over
eventually dying one day why is death so taboo.
When I die, if there is an afterlife, im goona kick "bob" in the nuts
