Hi Stang - can you give any info about a.s.goathead - to my newserver it
looks like a ghost town - is it still going through many servers???
was thinking bout a place for the kiddies to play...
any history - didn't annna set it up - she used to post there

Like alt.slak, alt.friends.sterno, and numerous others, hey, nobody's
home, go ahead and move in. That's what we did with the binaries.group
alt.binaries.monter-movies. Then the hoi-polloi returned.
Thousands of empty newsgroups are still out there and
alt.binaries.multimedia.slack isn't carried on many servers.

It should be alt.binaries.multimedia.slack, not
alt.binaries.slack.multimedia. It's a newsgroup hierarchy thing.

I created alt.slack.goathead several years ago, at the request of
Michelle Klein-Hass because she wanted her own newsgroup to play in.
Since a.s.g. appears to be abandoned, then you can do what you like
with it.
