How about chess pieces that shoot poison darts in every direction and
kill you, then come alive and have little arms full of knives that carve
all the flesh off your body and put all the flesh in one pile, the
entrails in another, and stack the bones neatly with the skull on top?

McDonalds Test marketed a Sandwich made with that cheese in 1997.

It was extreamly popular in the "Bible Belt", but did not sell to well
in the Northeast or West Coast.

Only if they squawk lines from the movie "Rocky" out of tiny
tinny little speakers built into their chest areas.

I want a USB-powered bishop that shrieks "Adriad!!!" whenever
you pick it up!

Make the human "pieces" take a big swig of liquor every time they are
moved. The more they move, the MUCH WORSE their pogoing will get.

The shot-glass collection, 'cuz you don't have to use it for chess.

or thimble collections. I know more than one old lady with thimbles
from every country in yoorip. I guess you could have some fun at
least swapping somebody's shotglass collection for somebody else's
thimble collection.

I'm almost to the point where I have to plug a USB hub into one of the
slots in my USB hub because I'm running out of holes to stick things
in.

Years and years and years and nobody would use SCSI but then USB comes
out and nobody can get enough. Go figger.

Sounds like what you need is a wireless USB cable.

I've re-thought this, and assuming that the shot-glass chess set comes
with a bottle of the hard stuff, then I'd say the results from either
of the two choices (if I tried them) would be pretty similar: Headache,
bruises, scrapes, broken glass all over the place, a ton of people to
apologize to ...
