Sounds wondermous! I'm sure y'all will have fun!

After dining with local relativities, I'm prepping a
pork tenderloin w/ tamarind and pineaple glaze
to be washed down with copious quantities of
Meyer's Dark Rum for an evening nosh.

Too bad I'm on the coast. I mean really.
Oh well.... here's a kitchen song you just inspired.
You can sing it in my place:

Baking, Baking, Baking
Bake those pies you're making
Till that crust is flaking
RAWHIDE!

Though kids run through your kitchen
Don't waste your time a bitchin'
Just keep those pecans twitchin'
RAWHIDE!

Basting, Basting, Basting
Paste on turkey basting
Soon you'll be 'a tasting
RAWHIDE!

For your Thanksgiving dinner
Don't be an injun giver
Serve your guests a sliver of
RAWHIDE!

cut 'em up
gut 'em out
stuff 'em in
baste 'em down
pop 'em in
pop 'em out
RAWHIDE!

peel 'em off
boil 'em out
mash 'em up
salt 'm down
heat 'm up,
eat 'em up
RAWHIDE!

Damn, Alliekatt, what time are you serving?

I kin be down in the Pitts in about two hours, and the PA turnpike has a $2
holiday special.

Just kidding...but I've driven a lot farther than that for a good meal.

YUM. (All non yum items deleted.)

Mrs. Nenslo is making her kugel tomorrow morning (she is a casserole
queen) and going off to her friends' house in the afternoon leaving me
in peace. Which I will destroy by baking myself a RHUBARB CRANBERRY
PIE. And for my viewing pleasure, I have Dersu Uzala, a '70s cult
schlocker called The Baby, and a mess of 1967 Avengerses. I was
interested to learn from MacNee's memoirs that they were all jacked up
on speed every day through that entire period.

AHHH after completely raping metaphysics, nenslo vindicates himself
again.

I haven't seen that movie in ages but I have a copy, and I was really
at a loss for what to do with my time tomorrow. That would be
perfect.

I define religion as the attempt to see the world through a god's
eyes. It seems irrelevant to me whether that god actually exists.

I'll take the "not yum" parts!
i.e. the Turkey and the Wine!
