It is worse than than when they catch me, but when I squirm away from the
danger, but fastened.
I could squirm with a reason..Squirm in the grass is the reason of life.
Would you listen Swedish Pop instead, Will Ha Dig. Can't flee anymore though
with these minuature pants..

You might also get gang-sodomized by a cadre of drunken lumberjacks,
but if you stay in Des Moines and avoid ice houses, your chances of it
happening are pretty small. HTH.

Lager usually. I can buy them from a store, even though there is a alcohol
monopoly owned by the government. Beers are free!!
I drink Lapin Kulta mostly, but I could go for Karhu, Koff, Karjala, Urho,
Olvi, Legend, Sandels, Nikolai, ...
Foreign beer Carlsberg, Heineken and _many_ others.

Lapin Kulta Premium Extra Strong Lager
Comes in a standard green 33 cl bottle with a dark label featuring a sunset and
lots of words, mostly in English. Ingredients include ascorbic acid. Best
before 12/03, I opened it on 11/12/03.
Pours a slightly orangish clear gold under essentially no head at all. What
foam there is fizzles fast, leaving just an island of film on top of the liquid
and a couple of bubbles clinging to one side. The nose is malty sweet, but not
overpowering. The mouth is prickly and heavy. The taste starts sweet and malty,
with just a bit of fruit juice. There are some harsh hops lurking in the
background somewhere. The make their presence known in the finish, and mingle
well with the sweetness to leave a not horrible aftertaste. If this were the
only beer I could have, I'd probably stop liking beer. Maybe."

garymuchow (591.5) ( Owatonna, Minnesota ) overall: 3.5
This bottle was brought to me by my brother John. Many thanks to him.
Aroma is a light pale malt with a watery quality and a slight sweetness.
Pours a brilliant yellow gold with a bright white head that settles in time.
Taste is fairly classic for style and region with a nice sweet malt character
surrounded by a hoppy bitterness. Possesses a very short finish.
Thin mouth feel, but not too watery. Soft carbonation. Good feel for style.
Overall a fairly standard beer. Has an easy drinking quality and enjoyable for
what it is.

Self served out a light light amber with a very thin fizz of a short lifed
head. Flavor speaks slowly of malts and hops, but the flavors do not speak very
well. Easy drinking because of a lack of badness, but not because of a reason
of goodness. Thin and average just like any other macro lager. Meh.

Average lager not much to it...
The color is very bright, unlike many other lagers, which appears very
qttrqctive for this GOLDEN beer. It has a nice head as well.
The taste is predominantly malty, nice, with hoppyness to it but its a plain
ole lager which doesnt rock MY world. no need to try it anyways more than once.

Globetrotter (1319.4) ( Moscow, Russian Federation ) overall: 2.75
Came in a light green 33cl bottle with a dark label featuring an image of what
I assume is the midnight sun. Ingredients included "unmalted cereals," which I
assume means rice and/or corn. I wish I had read the existing reviews before I
tossed the bottle, in order to determine whether or not I had a III or a IV A
(see BeerResearcher's entry). I know the ABV was 5.2%, and believe the label
called this a "Class III Premium Lager". Go figure.
Poured a clear straw gold with a white semi-firm head that nevertheless
disappeared faster than our cat when my three-year-old daughter starts calling
for her. Lace? Fuhgeddaboutit. This brew had a sweet grainy nose and a harshly
prickly, medium-bodied mouth. The initial taste is malty and sweet, but there
is not much of a finish. The aftertaste attempts a divide and conquer maneuver:
very mild touch of bitter at the back of the tongue, a bit of malt on the
jowels and excessive carbonation tingle on the tip of the tongue. I certainly
wasn't "conquered." This is drinkable, but by no means worth seeking out.
In Kazakhstan in the mid-90s, this was considered one of the best beers
available. In Moscow in 2003, it ain't even close. That's progress for you!
Me, I am currently drinking the mini-kegs 5-litre
And I haven't met a beer I didn't like! Same with scotch,
and schnapps, and gin, and brandy, and wine, and
ouzo, and...
