Well considering he was making movies in a wheelchair in the early 1950s
it was probably from being 200 fucking years old. For me there will
never be another Dr. Gillespie.

I know. I couldn't think of anything I'd seen him play; it was all WAY
before my time. The only thing I really knew about him was that he was
Drew Barrymore's pappy. I just posted it because you old farts seem to
dig those threads about other old farts kicking off.

That would be John Barrymore (1882-1942).

Whereas the one who just died was his son,
John Drew Barrymore (1932-2004).

Not to be confused with John Blyth Barrymore, aka
John Barrymore III (1954-), half-brother of Drew
Barrymore.
