As of right now, Bush is expected to have 249 electoral votes. Now all the
networks are babbling that a candidate needs 270 to win. They are also
babbling that if Bush takes Ohio, he wins the election even though Ohio
gives him a total of 269? So what part of this am I missing here??

Couldnt help but notice that CNN abd CBS websites have already put up a
"Showdown in Ohio" page up. Am I the only one that sees something fishy
here?

Isn't it fucking obvious?? They migrated all the dipshit mongoloid vote
counters who couldn't figure out what the fuck a hanging chad was all
about from Floridipshit to Ohoho and are going to steal the goddamned
vote this year too. It's 2000 all over again.

I can't even turn on the fuckiing tube, I'm afraid I'll start right up
on a debilitating 3 day bender.

Happy fucking birthday to me.

Rich

269 to 269 takes it to the house of reps, who are majority repubs.

No, there was a lot of fishiness going on, all around actually.

Let's start with Bush: He originally said a lot of things he couldn't
back up, like most politicians, such as North Korea, that the economy
is improving (only on election day did the market rebound), more jobs
available (at a high unemployment rate), etc.

Kerry didn't really do much different except for not explain his plan,
not talk much at the start, tried to please everyone, etc.

Polling was fishy -- electronic voting machines didn't work, more
states were like Florida in the last election, in some states
republican votes were tallied in thousand or more before polls opened,
etc.

Moderator in debates -- never kicked the candidates when they didn't
answer a yes or no question, never himslef got kicked when he refused
to make them answer it.

Networks and Political interest groups -- made it very clear that
again, unless they are as rich as Ross Perot, independants were not
going to be made aware of to the mass public, let alone share the
"real" Presidential debate stage.

Bloody hell. Now four more years of the same, unless Bush decides to
play more of the "Miracle Cards" hidden up his sleeve, like the market
rebound. Aces wild.

So glad I voted Libertarian with democrat split in two party choices
-- oh well, at least (unlike some who think otherwise) I voted my
preference on who has the right ideas, rather than squandering my
vote.

The part where democracy is a fraud, and elections are merely a
distraction to convince all you dumbasses that you actually have
something to say about how the multinational corporations run the global market.

Some of us are working on that. The whole government-by-corporate-proxy
thing, that is.
