Hi.

Topping off numerous updates made since the beginning of November, I
added this just yesterday:

"Share your experience for inclusion with my Summer, 2005 Release! If
you find your special pattern on The Big List, please do share! Here
is The Big List that was started way back in 1981:

11/111/x11/1111, 112, 22/222/2222, 3/33/333, 316, 318, 37, 44/44x/444,
47/x47, 53, 55/555, 666, 69, 7/77/777, 13/42, 23/32, 88/888, 1234, and
1212.

Hey, even if somehow it's *not* on The Big List, please share your
story anyway!

For all the details about the new 'Patterns That Matter' section I'll
be adding, send your Amazing Tales to me (I AM Jala*AN.) at
jlwn101010@att.net --- and please remember: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Thanks
for being there!"

That's it! So... enjoy 53.10 and, as always, don't hesitate to reach
out if you've got any questions!

Oh really, Mr. 37.com? Is that what it is? Are you sure?

Regarding 37:

From Crowley, The Man (circa 1908) -

Eleven was their great 'Key of Magic'. It is a twofold number
in 'the act of becoming 1'. Thirty-seven was the essence of 1
inasmuch as multiplying it by 3 gives 111, three ones, which
divided again by 3 in another manner, yield 1. "One would rather
think of 48 as 37 plus 11 than as 4 times 12" is the statement of
an elementary text-book dating from the earliest days of Atlas.
It was a sort of moral duty to teach the mind to think in this
manner. 37 = Man's Crown.

And again, for those of you who missed it, from ME (circa 1980) -

"My friends in college (who were all studying to be some kind of
scientist or engineer) wanted to help me debunk this. The theory was
this: choose ANY number at all, make a mental note of it, and then it
will start coming up all over the place. We took my TI-55 calculator
and used the random number generator on it to select a random number
between 1 and 600. We thought it might give us something that looked
like a time. It didn't. We got 37. We thought '37's a prime number,
seems odd enough, let's see if it starts to come up.' And for me, it
did - mostly on cash registers (in prices and change) and in numbers
that would come up in my various labs and classes. As a prank, in the
fall of 1980, we all helped paint a big 37 on the statue in the middle
of the Stevens Institute of Technology campus (Hoboken, NJ). Then one
Saturday a few weeks later I was playing around with the numbers in a
homework problem and realized that 37 was a close relative of my
number. 37 + 37 + 37 = 111! Why should a random number that we
generated on a calculator have ANY connection to 111?"

And more recently, from November, 2003:

:: Key I (a) ::
Aldehyde Reductase
w/Number
Aleph*Gimel*Kaph
3=III=111=7 (3=7)

And then finally, read about The BRAVE 37 (circa 2001) -

May they Rest In Peace...

I always pegged you as a BASE 10 kinda guy. You like to keep it
simple. Always knew that. But really, LET'S GET REAL HERE. After 9,
you go to A, you big dummy! I mean, right?! And finally, when you get
to F, then (AND ONLY THEN) do you "start all over" (ha! you're so cute
with your "start all over" - teehee!).

3) 11:11=> 1111 (BASE 2) => Hex F.

Hexadecimal --- BASE 16. Most of you are familiar with BASE 10, or
decimal. You know, 10 fingers and 10 toes? Counting them? Picture 8
fingers on each hand. Or 8 toes on each foot. Count them. Start with
ZERO. But when you get to 9 (which should be the second finger or toe
on your second eight-fingered hand or your second eight-toed foot!),
switch to letters (starting with A). By your 16th finger or your 16th
toe, you will reach F. HEX F. And, of course, this takes you all the
way back to:

"11:11=22=HEXF=15=TheHornedOne=OMEGA=1."

Here's a little cheat-sheet if you need help:

It is a compelling experience indeed, however humans are meaning making
machines.

Have you concidered that our brains have built in clocks and we
habitually program ourselves to look at a clock at certain times? Each
time we do see 11:11 we get a little buzz that enforces the habit, "yes
there is a greater guiding force and order to the universe, i'm not
alone!". I ask myself this question.

Is it any different than waking up as exactly the same time each day?
