NEWNAN, Ga. - "Across the Bible Belt this Halloween, some little
ghosts and goblins might get shooed away by the neighbors — and some
youngsters will not be allowed to go trick-or-treating at all —
because the holiday falls on a Sunday this year.

"'It's a day for the good Lord, not for the devil,' said Barbara
Braswell, who plans to send her 4-year-old granddaughter Maliyah out
trick-or-treating in a princess costume on Saturday instead."

(But she still sends her granddaughter out trick-or-treating?)

"You just don't do it on Sunday," said Sandra Hulsey of Greenville, Ga.
"That's Christ's day. You go to church on Sunday, you don't go out and
celebrate the devil. That'll confuse a child."

...right.

Why would that confuse the Child? Satan is the only way to explain why this
world is so fucked up. Without Satan it is even more obvious that God is the
source of all evil. Best scape goat ever invented.

That's my job!"

Yes, so let me get this straight. These are good Christians who choose to have
their children go out and celebrate the devil one day each year. Its ok to
worship Satan- as long as it's not on a Sunday.

Got it.

What do these people do when the *pagan* holiday of xmas falls on a sunday?
Is it still alright to worship the baby jesus under these conditions?
Will this just confuse the children?
What of "Bob" ?

I think this is sooooo cute.
teaching the little tykes at an early age
that religion makes you an idiot and
a nasty pest.

Just think of an 8 year old boy sniffling because his
friends are out trick or treating but his religous fantic
mother won't let him go. You know you have an
incipient non-believer here waiting to rebel when he
gets out of that house and goes to college.

By God, wait a minute here. Gotta find my paperwork....
Yeah, here we go...I AM THE ANTI-POPE OF ATLANTA!!! I know about the
screwup down here.

Of course its wrong to worship Satan on a Sunday, you can do it any other
day and it fine, even expected. Look its like trying to figure out why
Christ was a Jew, he was the first Christian. Thats why they named him
Christ, his momma wanted to name him Billy Bob after her mothers second
husband, he was real nice to her and it hurt here when he left and Uncle
Lester took over, the pig.
