I was roaming around looking for more Democratic Party stuff
when I found this site, which then lists all the fringe parties,
including those who are too small and out on Uranus to field
candidates. Scroll down and check out the Green Libertarian Nazis!.

That's "Libertarian National Socialist Green Party" to you.

"These Libertarian Green Nazis are either the strangest conglomeration
of diametrically opposed political ideologies of a political party I
have ever seen -- or one of the most wry political practical jokes found
anywhere on the net (I'm not certain which conclusion is correct, but I
strongly suspect the latter)."

Allow me to propose the Alien Overlord Party.

mini manifesto:

The Grand Premise: earth humans are behaviorally incapable of
peaceably governing themselves.

The Final Solution: Install an intimidating and impartial alien
overlord to preside over the governance of the earth's humans, until
such a time as the alien's kind come to destroy the earth and pick up
the subgenius chosen ones for their pleasure zoos.

Boy, you're gonna be one of the Deeply Surprised when you wake up in
Baptist Heaven, there's no sign of "Bob" or Stang or any of them
heathens, Jesus hands you a really big toilet brush, points at Jupiter
and says "Get to scrubbin'."

By "bOB" it was great to see that the Prohibition Party is still around.
The wonderful people who brought jazz, gangsters and police corruption to
the fore. It brings a tear to my eye. Perhaps Rev. BeerGoogles will join
me in a toast to our Prohibitionist friends. Anyway I have to go, beer
festival downtown.

You know, I'm sure the guy who put this site together means well, but
listing serious and viable third parties with well-developed ideologies
(like the Greens, Libertarians, and Social Democrats) alongside kook
parties (like the Christian Falangists, the Nazis, and the Pansexual
Peace Party) isn't really doing much for democracy.

"Ha ha, look at these kooky fringe parties! Oops, time to go vote for
the Bonesman!"

Third parties will be the salvation of American democracy once electoral
reform is a reality, with the President and Congress selected by
publicly funded elections using instant runoff voting. Culling the
wheat from the chaff will be important.

A few of the parties who don't run candidates are neither small nor out
on Uranus, by the way. Democratic Socialists of America and Social
Democrats USA are good examples: they're both member parties of
Socialist International, which includes Labour in the UK, the NDP in
Canada, and 130-some other member parties worldwide.

Even though the mere mention of socialism is enough to make most
Americans shit their pants in terror, by global standards SI is quite
mainstream. They're social democrats, not Marxists.

I feel sorry for Karl marx.

All we wanted was all people to have an equal sahre of the burdon and the
rewards of sociaety.

He wanted free election, represenative government, equal protection under the
law, etc. All it took was a few wacko Russians to screw up his work.

Marx once looked up to the US as an imperfect example of his dream.

Now, the dream of Marx as well as many of the founding fathers is fadeing out.

That would be even more intelligible if you would SPELL CHECK.

Creating a Utopia with humans as its citizens is EXACTLY like trying to
build a cathedral out of rabbit turds. Mean violent rabbit turds who are
constantly robbing and murdering each other. Ultimately,
pre-technological humanity in small numbers is tribal, in medium numbers
is feudal, and in large numbers is fascist. Technological humanity can
ONLY be capitalist. It's a character issue - only one person in
hundreds even has an inner focus or an awareness of the value of ethical
action. The rest are primarily emotional reactionary, externally
identified with group or product allegiance.

Be honest with yourselves dear readers - what does YOUR prime motivator
more closely resemble:
"Let's all work together to make the world a better place."
OR
"I got mine, to hell with you."
