Was when Edwards said that he'd consult with the leaders of other WORLDS
before initiating any aggression.

At least he corrected himself right away. Bush and Cheney usually leave
that menial task to their spinmasters.

Oh, and I should have mentioned that right after he said it, until he
corrected himself I didn't even catch it. I'd parsed it as "leaders
around the world" or "leaders throughout the world" or some such.

I don't see what is wrong with mentioning consulting with leaders in
other worlds. It comes off as very 'star trek mom' and I think will do
well in the pacific northwest.

And for shit's sake, man, the transcripts aren't up yet so I can't be
sure, but I don't think he ever said said he'd consult with other
leaders before initiating any aggression.

If he did, it was an unbelievably idiotic move considering that the
campaign has done everything they can to shoot down that idea.

I remember the "leaders of other worlds" thing but I don't think it was
in that context.

I think it would be to everyone's benefit if he were to consult with KERRY
before initiating any aggression.

I think it would be to everyone's benefit if all politicians were
required to wear goofy, brightly-colored hats, a la Monty Python's
Very Silly Party. The perspective gained thereby could not help but be
very positive at all times. Hey, I COULD have suggested rubber-chicken
boxers outside the pants, but I'm trying to be fair here.

Well, as long as the opposing party's rubber chicken is no LARGER than your
own, I'd say that's fair.

From what I've heard, Cheney's gaffe was more interesting. As I understand
it, he responded to Edwards' attacks on Halliburton when Cheney was there by
going to a website called factcheck.com. The website is actually at
factcheck.org. When you go to factcheck.com, you get a message from George
Soros on why we chouldn't re-elect Bush.

If it had been Bush, he probably would have said to go to some "Internettle
thingy". Then again, the question about Bush and Halliburton would likely
never arise; if he'd worked there, Halliburton would no longer be in
business.

And if you go to factcheck.org, one of the facts that it debunks is
that factcheck supports Cheney's statement. Factcheck, in fact,
verifies that John Edwards got it right.

Cheney lied, again.

Yea! Lots funnier then the batch of outright lies Cheney spewed out!

Never meet Edwards in the Senate?

Some fact Checkers proved that Edwards was there more the Cheney was!
