I take it you're not one of those who is chomping at the bit to buy
those vulgar 9/11 coins "made from silver found in a bank vault at
Ground Zero." Now THERE'S some real vulgarity for ya. PRALEWIS.

I only collect SubGenius souls and CDs, the content
of neither of which I am in the habit of paying for.

I 'misread' that it was taking place at the "Lame Events Center".

All these people were getting enthused about a revived McLuhan
experiemnt where half of a class watched the debate on TV and the
other only listened to it and compared their 'percepts'....... someone
else suggested only watching the 'blogosphere'...... I announced (to
the enthusers that is, not to the class itself that didn't make a
single sound of enthusiasm or even acknowledgement of hearing the
instruction) that I completely ignored the debate, and my conclusion
is that people who didn't ignore the debate seemed more likely to be
convinced that there was a debate, and that the votes won't go in a
garbage can.

They didn't really want to follow up on that one. I doubt MM does.
