While everybody was distracted watching the
two nimrods go at it, the US and Iraqi Armies
AN ENTIRE FUCKING BRIGADE (3500-5000) OF THEM
HAVE JUST CAPTURED THE CITY OF ar-Samarra!

Attacking an estimated 2000 Iraqi fighters and
250 foreign fighters, they are chopping the city
into sectors, turning off power in some parts,
and killing for Kali like there is no tomorrow.

AND THERE IS ALMOST NO MENTION OF IT ON THE NEWS
SERVICES. There are like two paragraphs from
the embeds on CNN and in a few other places.

Geez, talk about yer bait 'n' switch. Instead
of seeing a huge fucking battle, we get to see
a couple of Lusers trade blah-blah.

Sanitized for your protection.

Ya I caught that on cnn.com also. This is similar to the battle of Baghdad
and the Jessica Lynch story. One story is buried by another. Smoke and
mirrors.

Well, Rove and Cheney planned it that way in an attempt to give Bush a
boost even if the debate went poorly. Blame them if you need someone to
blame.

Blame, credit, whatever.

The tally so far is that they killed about 100 bad
boyz, blew up two speedboats unloading weapons on
the Tigris, captured the important mosques in town
and pretty well rolled up everything of value before
doing the house-to-house searches. 1 US soldier got
killed with 4 wounded.

And almost no mention of it in the MSM.

As of Friday Afternoon. The "captured" city was still fighting.

And there were still 100 "miltants" (which means anyone who got shot) killed.

Reminds me of those three glorious days of in MArch of 2003 when the 3ID was 50
miles outside Bagdahd

And in two days, the fighting will still be going on. And after the US declares
victory, the militants will come out of their hidey holes and go back to doing
what they do best. Kill people, one at a time.
